This COVID-19 Business Preparedness Plan will be evaluated, monitored, executed and updated under the supervision of the designated Plan Administrator. It will be posted and available at all times.
Pilates Done Wright (also referred to in this plan as PDW) is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all clients. The primary goal is to mitigate the potential for transmission of the COVID‐19 virus with the expectation of full cooperation between PDW and all clients. Pilates Done Wright is responsible for implementing and complying with all aspects of this plan. Effort has been made to comply with CDC and Minnesota Department of Health Guidelines, as well as federal OSHA standards related to COVID‐19. This plan addresses:

Previously established cleaning and disinfection procedures will continue with the additional methods and increased frequency of housekeeping outlined below.

“Balanced Body Clean is a tested disinfectant but like most other disinfectants,
Balanced Body Clean has not been specifically tested against COVID- 19.
We do know that Balanced Body Clean has been thoroughly tested with results that kill 99% of bacteria on contact, including E-Coli and Staphylococcus. Balanced Body Clean is a 100% organic disinfectant that we recommend for use on the vinyl surfaces and for complete cleaning of any hard surfaces that have been touched by clients using the equipment.”
3. Single use disposable cleaning wipes may also utilized.
4. Double-padded loops will be cleaned and/or machine-washed on a regular basis. (Every 10
visits or sooner)
5. Weekly deep cleaning of the studio equipment will continue.
6. Clients will be allowed use additional personal protective accessories, such as reformer towels,
for use during their session.
RECORDKEEPING
PROMPT IDENTIFICATION AND ISOLATION OF SICK PERSONS
Close contact means: A person has been within 6 feet of a confirmed or suspected COVID-
19 case for an extended period of time. Close contact can occur while caring for, living with,
or visiting with a COVID-19 case.
OR
A person has had direct contact with body fluids of a confirmed or suspected COVID-19
case from being coughed on, while being intimate, or during any such situation involving
direct contact.
COVID-19 should also be reported.)
If the answer is “YES” to either of these questions, the client is encouraged to access
testing for their symptoms/illness before requesting a return to PDW.
The studio will close until a thorough cleaning of the facility has been completed if a client reports symptoms following a Pilates session at PDW.
CLIENTS TESTING POSITIVE FOR COVID-19
Clients with a confirmed positive COVID-19 test or with symptoms including fever, cough, or shortness of breath must STAY HOME until all the following conditions have been met:

Pilates Done Wright is responsible for implementing and complying with all aspects of this plan. - Hygiene and respiratory etiquette
- Social distancing
- Cleaning, disinfecting and decontamination
- Prompt identification and isolation of sick persons
- Communications between Pilates Done Wright and clients
- Effective implementation of the Plan
HYGIENE AND RESPIRATORY ETIQUETTE
- PDW may and upon request of client wear a mask during the entirety of the Pilates session.
- PDW will wash hands with soap and water prior to every session.
- Upon arrival, all clients will be asked to wash their hands with soap and water in the restroom on the lower level.
- All clients will be asked to wear a mask upon arrival/departure.
- All non-vaccinated clients will be required to wear a mask fully covering their nose and mouth during their Pilates session. Masks may be adjusted or removed temporarily upon request, for example, to use a tissue. Clients will be cautioned that masks may inhibit their breathing which might require modifications or rests. Clients will be encouraged to alert PDW if any breathing issues arise.
- Tissues will be disposed of at once, with the washing or sanitizing of hands immediately afterwards.
- Clients will be advised to avoid touching their face, in particular their mouth, nose, and eyes as much as possible
- Clients may wear gloves if desired.
- Fully vaccinated clients may use a mask if desired during their Pilates session. By definition, Per the CDC guidelines,
- A person is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving the last recommended dose of vaccine.
- Fully vaccinated people can: Visit with other fully vaccinated people indoors without wearing masks or physical distancing (updated 4/2/2021)
- All clients will utilize their own labeled reformer loops/straps. The loops will be removed, cleaned and stored at PDW in an enclosed bin to prevent transmission.
- Respiratory etiquette guidelines will be available or posted. These guidelines will be supported by making straps, masks, tissues and trash receptacles available.
- PDW will utilize a HEPA filtered air purifier in the studio during all sessions. The window may be opened at client’s request, weather permitting.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
- Session times will be spaced by a minimum of 30 minutes to allow adequate time to clean common areas, the studio, the restroom and the equipment and allow for separate client arrival and departure times.
- Clients will be asked to arrive no more than 5 minutes before their scheduled session.
- Clients will be asked to remove their shoes and leave them by the front door.
- Only the client will be allowed to attend the session. No guests, children or other family members will be allowed to accompany clients to their sessions.
- Clients will be asked to limit the number of items brought into the studio; e.g. a water bottle, purse.
- PDW and masked, non-vaccinated client will make every effort to maintain social distancing (greater than or equal to 6 feet) throughout the session.
- PDW will primarily use verbal cueing and demonstration, with limited tactile cueing during the session.
CLEANING, DISINFECTION AND DECONTAMINATION
Previously established cleaning and disinfection procedures will continue with the additional methods and increased frequency of housekeeping outlined below.
COMMON AREAS
- Frequent cleaning (minimum of 2 times per week) and disinfecting will be conducted in high touch areas: door handles, stair rails, light switches, etc.
- Storage cubicles for personal items will be cleaned and disinfected regularly.
- Floors will be cleaned and vacuumed a minimum of one time per week.
RESTROOM
- Clients will be asked to utilize the restroom on the lower level, near the Pilates studio.
- Restrooms will be cleaned and disinfected after use, with a Tier 1 Product – Products that are in compliance with the EPA’s Emerging Viral Pathogen Guidance for Antimicrobial Pesticides, such as a Clorox or Lysol product.
- Soap, water and disposable paper towels will be available for hand washing.
- Additional cleaning and restocking of restrooms supplies will be performed as needed.
STUDIO
- Specific manufacturer-recommended cleaning agents, designed to protect and prolong the lifetime of the materials, will be utilized following each session.
- All equipment used during the session will be cleaned using recommended cleansers, such as Balanced Body Clean.

RECORDKEEPING
- PDW will maintain a documented sanitation schedule and checklist for the common areas, restroom and studio. Documentation will also include client personal individual equipment sanitation and the date(s) of completion.
PROMPT IDENTIFICATION AND ISOLATION OF SICK PERSONS
- CDC and OSHA guidelines regarding COVID-19 will be available.
- Clients agree to communicate any symptoms/illness to PDW before attending a Pilates session.
- PDW will immediately notify all clients if any COVID-19 exposure or symptoms are suspected at or near the studio.
- If any exposure is confirmed, PDW may elect to self-quarantine for a period of up to 14 days.
- Clients will be asked to self-screen for COVID-19. If the answer is “YES” to either of these questions, the client should call or text PDW to cancel prior to arrival.
- Have you had close contact with someone who was diagnosed or suspected to have

If the answer is “YES” to either of these questions, the client is encouraged to access
testing for their symptoms/illness before requesting a return to PDW.
The studio will close until a thorough cleaning of the facility has been completed if a client reports symptoms following a Pilates session at PDW.
CLIENTS TESTING POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

- Symptoms including fever, cough, or shortness of breath have improved
- At least 14 days have passed since symptoms first appeared
- Fever (100.4°F or higher) has been gone for at least 3 days without the use of fever-reducing medicine.
- Confirmed negative COVID-19 test following the resolution of symptoms.
